Rural Alaska Community Action Program, Inc.

Road Home

The Road Home Program will provide permanent supportive housing and follow the Housing First philosophy while providing a comprehensive array of services to chronically homeless individuals with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse and high use of Anchorage Safety Center due to public inebriation.

The program will be implemented in the Municipality of Anchorage and be carried out by multidisciplinary and person-centered Intensive Case Management (ICM) teams providing intensive community-based services.

By connecting clients to stable housing paired with community-based services, the Road Home Program will decrease the adverse impact of homelessness on the community and individuals.
